In this class we will focus on the historical and visual references that give context and insight to the hairstyles of this 30-year period, as well as breakdowns of the most commonly depicted styles and accessories of the period.
This class is in a slide-show lecture format. For those interested in recreating these styles for yourself I am creating companion tutorials, that will be launching in late 2024!
This class is based on research found in primary sources, a survey of over 1500 period images, as well as my knowledge and training as a licensed Cosmetologist.
My hope is that this class inspires, informs and helps you fall a bit more in love with this deceptively simple and elegant period.
